Important Notes

The Leopard Lacrosse program just finished it's most successful season ever.  Every team in the program reached heights that it has never reached before and we are looking to expand and improve the program next season.  The youth program is looking to expand to include a 5th/6th grade team in addition to the 7th/8th grade team.  Anyojne looking to join the team, or just give lacrosse a try, please come out to a practice and see for yourself why Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in America.  

There will be a Free Play Day on Saturday May 19th from 10:00 – 11:30am at the field behind Sloan Creek Middle School.  PLease come out and give Lacrosse a try, we are sure you will fall in love with the sport!

Lovejoy Leopards Lacrosse Club

Lacrosse, considered to be America's first sport, was born of the North American Indian, christened by the French, and adapted and raised by the Canadians.  Athletes and enthusiasts of the United States have embraced modern lacrosse for over a century.  The sport is a combination of basketball, soccer and hockey.  Anyone can play lacrosse!  The game requires and rewards coordination and agility, not brawn.  Quickness and speed are two highly prized qualities in lacrosse.

Our desire is that every member of the Lovejoy Leopard Lacrosse Club program emphasize, by action and by word, the virtues of team spirit, sportsmanship, and healthy competition.  All play and competition will be conducted on the highest level and develop a love for the sport and participation in all our players.  Members will not be discriminated against based on ones race, religion or gender.  All players are welcome regardless of skill or experience, if they are physically fit to meet the demands of the sport and meet the grade level requirement for the team.

 Leopard Lacrosse will have a Boys 5th/6th, 7th/8th, High School JV and High School Varsity teams for the 2012/2013 season.

Practices for the Middle School program are held from 4:30-6:30 on Mondays and Wednesday's and from 10:00-12:00 on Saturdays Throughout May at the field behind Sloan Creek Middle School (located at 440 Country Club Road, Fairview, Texas).  The schedule for the Summer season will be released in early June.  

High School practices are held at the High School and the schedule will be released soon.
